Mucumbli Villa - Ponta Figo

We had an amazing value for our money at Mucumbli in Ponta Figo. The bungalow we stayed in had a balcony with a fine ocean view and the room itself wassuper clean and cozy. The location was perfect, surrounded by peaceful nature and the sound of waves. The staff was really good, especially Catarina, the manager, who was cute, caring. The restaurant had delicious local and Italian food, and the staff there was also friendly and kind. it was a fantastic experience.

The breakfast selection could have been better.

The location of the hotel is exceptional, with bungalows overlooking the ocean. Falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the waves is a wonderful experience. Each bungalow has a balcony, providing a peaceful and intimate atmosphere. the staff is welcoming, caring, and always helpful. the restaurant serves delicious local and Italian food, and the breakfast is always good. the hotel also offers a range of activities, such as excursions and car rental.

Access to the beach may not be easy for small children, as some areas can be a bit slippery.

I recently stayed at Mucumbli in Ponta Figo for a few days and it was absolutely amazing. The owners were incredibly nice and helped organise an airport transfer and a rainforest tour. The location, perched on a hill by the ocean, was breathtaking and I loved falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the waves. The bungalows were charming and well-furnished, with a large terrace that offered stunning sea views. The food was delicious, with tasty local fish and a diverse breakfast. The staff were friendly, spoke multiple languages, and were always ready to help. I also enjoyed the option of renting a car and exploring the island on my own. I had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend Mucumbli for a memorable stay.

Sea view from the room: Waking up to the breathtaking view of the vast ocean stretching out before me was like being in a postcard. It felt as though I had my own personal window to paradise, with the endless blue waters and gentle waves lulling me into a state of blissful relaxation.

Staff responsiveness.

I always return for a peaceful, romantic escape. The staff even helped me return my forgotten earphones! With free Wi-Fi, parking, airport shuttle, and amenities like laundry, hiking, and a bar/restaurant. No regrets, just pure relaxation.

the experience was amazing! the staff was super friendly and spoke English, which was very helpful. the room was spacious, well-furnished, and had a certain character that added to the charm. the restaurant had delicious food and the WiFi was good. the grounds were beautiful, with lots to explore. They even arranged car hire for us, making it hassle-free.

The location was fine, with spacious tents right by the sea. The fresh seafood for dinner was delicious, and we loved being able to use the kayaks and go snorkeling for free. The footpaths around the lodge were perfect for day trips to nearby beaches, and the waves were so much fun. The managers were helpful and arranged hiking tours for us. we had a fantastic and relaxing experience.

The only small inconvenience we encountered was when we had to pay the deposit before our trip. As German travelers, we couldn't use our regular bank transfer and had to go through PayPal, which charged us a high fee that we weren't informed about.

I always stay here when I visit. No regrets. The staff even returned my forgotten things! Perfect for me with free Wi-Fi, parking, airport shuttle, laundry, hiking. Coming back for city trip.
